TOTAL CONSECRATION TO GOD - HYMN OF THE WEEK

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way! Thou art the potter, I am the clay; Mold me and make me after Thy will, While I am waiting yielded and still. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way! Hold o'er my being absolute sway! Fill with Thy Spirit till all shall see Christ only, always, living in me.

WAIT ON THE LORD

" but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint. " Isaiah 40: 31     Sometimes, we find ourselves waiting for life to get back to normal. We wait for the right person to come into our lives. But at times, we become too impatient that we get so tired of waiting. All we want is immediate answers. Our God is a God of order. He does things stage by stage.   During our process of waiting, we learn one of the attributes of Poppa God which is PATIENCE!. Patience makes us complete. While waiting, though you can't see what is happening, but trust me, God is preparing a special package behind the scene for you. And when the special package is finally brought to you on a platter of gold, you'll be glad your waiting was worth it. I love that Scripture that says; "Wait on the Lord, be of good courage......   Wait on God, see yourself grow from strength to stre...

GOD'S PLAN IS BETTER

Luke 1:26-36, 38 HCSB In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel  was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth,  to a virgin engaged  to a man named Joseph, of the house of David.  The virgin’s name was Mary. And the angel came to her and said, “Rejoice, favored woman! The Lord is with you.” But she was deeply troubled  by this statement, wondering what kind of greeting this could be. Then the angel told her: Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Now listen: You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will call His name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. He will reign over the house of Jacob  forever, and His kingdom will have no end. Mary asked the angel, “How can this be, since I have not been intimate with a man? ” The angel replied to her: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power ...

GIVE THANKS

Image
Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 ....always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20 As Christians, our duty is to give God thanks everyday. We should have a grateful heart towards the One who gave us life. "count your blessings, name them one by one." Praise God for all He has done, all He is doing and all He'll do. Psalms 50:14 says Sacrifice a thank offering to God, and pay your vows to the Most High... God's only delicacy is THANKSGIVING. Cultivate the habit of Thanksgiving always. You may not feel like you are getting what you want right now, but you are alive and well. God is the maker of all things. He gave us life. He is in love with us. Jesus also gave thanks. So they removed the stone. Then Jesus raised His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me." John 11:41 When you're grateful, you recei...

EVERY TRIAL, A BLESSING IN DISGUISE

Image
Trials comes as a result of God's chastening. And this is part of His love for us as His children. Every trial we go through, is meant to bring us to total submission to the will of God in our lives. Trial breaks every pride in us. It removes every weed disturbing our growth spiritually. Trial brings us to our knees and makes us depend on God. Trials are meant to shape us, not break us. God remains our strength in the midst of it, only if we let Him. His strength alone carry us through and brings us to a place of fulfillment. And then, the glory of the Lord is revealed in us. Note: "Whatever God permits is an invitation for us to draw closer to Him." "Every trial great or small, is God's love gift in disguise." Dear Father, Thank You for the trials i faced in the past, thank You for the trials I'm facing now and thank You for the trials to come. Father, I know these trials are shaping me into who You want me to be. Amen!
